Welcome to Sweetwater ISD...Where Nothing is Impossible!

The Sweetwater Independent School District serves approximately 2,280 students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12 on six campuses; high school, middle school, intermediate school, two elementary schools, and an early childhood center.
Sweetwater ISD is also the fiscal agent for a seven-member county alternative learning center and a nine-member school special education shared service arrangement. In Sweetwater, excellence is not only a goal, it is a standard. All three elementary campuses are exemplary, the High School is recognized, and the Middle School is acceptable. Students have opportunities to participate in UIL academic competitions. The fine arts program enjoys outstanding successes, especially in band and choral music. In athletics, teams consistently excel in football, basketball, baseball, track, softball, power lifting, volleyball, golf, and tennis.
