Our Mission Statement

It is the responsibility of the Sweetwater Independent School District to provide opportunities for all students to reach their maximum potential. The district provides opportunities for students to learn to communicate effectively, and to grow socially, emotionally, and physically. The district is committed to challenging students to be successful, contributing, responsible members of society and to become well-rounded adults.

Senior, Emily Carey Headed to State Auditions Congratulations to SHS Choir Senior, Emily Carey,
who auditoned on Friday in Lubbock for the Pre-Area
Choir and earned "Third Chair" in those auditions, and
will now advance to audition in January for the Texas
All-State Choir !

DECA Competition SHS students recently traveled to the metroplex to compete in a DECA competition. Our Role Play team placed 3rd. Congratulations to Miesha Hand and Nikki Jones.
